Ted
I know this is last years thread however
You are right on - and this has happened for the last three years now in Calif When I was in the process of moving and didn't plant seeds I picked up some Bonnie plants at Lowes and Wallmart (they carried them at HD but since stopped I think)
anyway 90% of the plants from Bonnie came down with something and spread to other plants I got - only a few vendors had good plants - did see Anthracnose also on my OP Dona - they actually did pretty well and not all the fruit were effected with Anth

Glad I am back to starting from seed - do you treat seed? I have wondered with all the possibilities of seed borne diseases we really have to be cautious on our seed suppliers

Dennis

I have had isolated problems with nematodes(used to use vapam- no longer used in Calif) and I planted other stuff there or planted in buckets

The only disease I ever had was with I think downey mildew and got rid of it with serenade and then sprayed for and got rid of the white flies
