Is this the stuff, Pro-Mix® All-Purpose Professional Grower's Mix - 2 cu. ft. and is it 2 1/2" holes or 2 1/2" holes scattered all around the bottom?
Thank You |

I haven't done 2 per bucket, no way I'd try unless I had drip irrigation setup, even then I still think 1 dwarf tomato per bucket.
That is the mix, think it is $14 per bale. The holes are: 2 holes 1/2" in diameter. One on each side (not bottom) of the bucket placed 1.5" up the side from the bottom. I find the small reservoir by not having holes on the bottom works better. I have a couple new buckets this year I may try placing the holes 2" or 2.5" up from the bottom to see if that works any better. |
