Local CHOPTAG Useful Information Thread
If you know of any unique stores or such locally, please post info on store stuff and how to get there. Something new to do would be nice to keep us from going "stir crazy," if we can catch a nice day to get out.
Brown's Marketplace: You will want to see the bulk food section [lots of baking stuff, flours and ect., complete with deli and bakery items direct from Amish country. We also bring in farm fresh product that the Brown’s have been known for. From I-75: Take the State Route 129 Exit #24 towards Hamilton. Stay straight. You will go through Hamilton on High St. Once you cross the river the street name changes to Main Street. Stay on Main St, we are in the Hamilton Meadows Shopping Plaza Link http://www.brownsmarketplace.com/

Oxford, Ohio has a winter farmers' market on the third Saturday of each month from 9-noon. It is located just north of Main Street (can't miss it) downtown. We went last month, and I purchased some WONDERFUL naturally-raised pork sausages, brats and ribs, plus frozen apple cider, Feta goat cheese and more. There were plenty of eggs available, beef, poultry, honey, baked goods, etc. I was very surprised to see the number of customers especially as the temperature that day was 13* with a wind-chill below 0*! BRRRRRR!
