Just cut up my first cuke of the season - mini-white from SSE. Excellent tasting - sometimes my first ones are bitter. This is zone 5-51/2 in Nebraska. Any one else grow this variety. somewhat of novelty but very pretty and quite tasty. Piegirl

My first cucumbers this year was 2 days ago - Poona Kheera from Fedco seeds. They are a very good tasting and interesting colored cucumber. I recommend everyone try these at least once. I will be growing these for years to come.
I actually planted them on my back chain-linked fence, because I thought a brown colored cucumber would deter the neighborhood kids from eating them. Works! Dean |
