Trouble gathering info on Tomato
I recieved a pack of tomato seed in a swap several years ago, by the name of 'Tomato Uri' . For some reason I put them in the cherry tomato catagory of my seed system. This year I decided to grow them. They are doing well. They are a compact plant at around 3 feet tall. The fruit are looking like very small beefsteaks at this point. My issue is that I can't find any reference to them anywhere. I can't seem to locate the original seed envelope(most likely tossed after seed sowing) or who I recieved the seed from.
Any ideas would be wonderful, as I'm at a loss. Thanks Donna ;-) |

I suspect that you a garbled name. It's either something connected to The University of Rhode Island or other school with the same injtials or from one named Uri

That is all I can find online when I Google...either Uri the name or URI the school. I was hoping someone here might have heard of a tomato fron the school....I know I haven't traded with anyone named Uri lol.
