Default Homeria Collina

Has anyone ever tried Homeria Collina? I was doing some reading on it and I read it can be considered an invasive plant... but then I have also read this about Chinese Lantern (which is not so bad) and then about Crown Vetch (Very invasive) and Bittersweet (I REALLY HATE THAT STUFF)... I like the looks of it and I am wondering if anyone knows where I can find conclusive information about how invasive it is and if it is allowed and or safe to plant. I certainly won't just blindly plant it, because the original owner of our property did that with some English Ivy and my neighbors are still moaning to me about it. Anyway, I'm just curious about it.
