Has anyone every canned baked tomatoes? They have such a great flavor I'm wondering how they'd turn out canned. Thinking about it, I don't see any reason not to.

Earl, you just gave me an idea...I wonder if you could grill tomatoes until they were smoky and charred...and then can them? Fire roasted tomatoes...mmmm....YUM!
