I got the seeds from a ripe eggplant today........ this is one that still had color........ does anyone know what the name of this might be?

its an asian variety for sure. i have a similar one but more tear drop in shape.

thanks pinakbet......... I went to your post and did notice the green eggplant you have...... the one I have is more bell shaped...... but colors are the same.......... if you want some seeds I'll be happy to send you some........

Looks like Louisiana Oval Green. Excellent eggplant, never seen it in a catalog. I bought some transplants in a Louisiana nursery and I've been saving seed and giving it away ever since. I call it L.O.G. eggplant.
