![]() ![]() KBX x Siberian Tiger Pink F2 The goal here was to keep the awesome taste of KBX and Siberian Tiger (looking for a balanced taste) with pretty antho (preferably of the "striped" variety). I also want to capture Siberian Tiger's earlyness (it's really early for a bigger fruit for me). Big sun-sucking potato leaves are a bonus. Now that's an interesting combination of parents! Looking forward to how the next round of growouts shake out. How was the flavor of that FY 2-6 orangy cast one?

Realized I never posted the rest of these -
![]() FY 2-1 Tastes as good as it looks. A carry forward for sure ![]() L10-5 If only it were more productive..... But there are seeds available if anyone wants to play... ![]() ![]() L 10-6 One of my better bicolors this year. But no antho, and a bit late, so I don't think I'll be carrying it on. ![]() ![]() L10-3 (10-5 in the background) The biggest surprise out of this line this year for sure - a WHITE one. With (light) antho! Very exciting, and great taste. Set exactly two fruit though, so production wasn't exactly impressive. None the less, it gets to go forward, because white+antho is something I'd love to see. ![]() FY2-2 showing antho "bleed" into the flesh |

I grew out a lot from the white L 10-3 this year. What I got was a bunch of the best tasting white tomatoes I've had.
They were also early, and productive. ![]() FY 3-7 Ivory white, very nice fruity flavor. ![]() ![]() L 8-3 White, pretty, weak but fruity flavor. ![]() ![]() L 9-9 Pic is obviously way overripe. Picked post frost for the picture (failed to take a shot of the earlier ones). Darker apricot shade when VERY ripe, light antho, probably the best chance for homozygous antho on a white background. ![]() L 9-1 Peach color, productive, nice flavor ![]() L 9-5 Weak taste. ![]() ![]() L-M Bicolor, sweet, taste 8.5/10. ![]() L 8-9 (w/ L 8-3). Clearly a mis-label (or a bee got involved). That aside, it has classic "black" taste. |
