Free seed of Cabin PL
I have received a large packet of a tomato that the sender calls Cabin. It was originally obtained from Wintersown in 2008. The sender claims it is cold hardy and disease resistant, does well in pots or in the ground. Produces large (up to 26 oz) pink fruit. I cannot independently verify any of these observations!
One other issue is that there is already a Cabin tomato out in the world which does not match the description above. So, I guess we are stuck with Cabin PL for a name to differentiate it. My understanding is that this Cabin PL may be distributed by Wintersown again this year. Here's the offer: I'll send a packet to the first 5 to post here (and then PM your address). No SASE needed. Yes. I think he sent the rest of his seeds to Wintersown though. I didn't really want to "out" him here though in case he didn't want millions of emails.

Yes, Trudi told me that she received lots of seeds for the potato leafed Cabin. She sent me a packet to trial. So looks like this tomato will be distributed via Wintersown.org.
