I have about 150+ left from last year and would like to get them out to those who want to try her.

She's a great all-around tomato with strong flavor.

Here's a little write-up about Shannon's that I send to people that are interested...

Briefly, because the story is long, my grandmother grew this one for decades outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. She recieved them from a Russian immigrant who lived up the street. She just called it 'Russian' for years. As time went by , and I decided to try to make it more 'public' so to speak, I needed to change the name because of so many different Russian varieties out there, so I took one look around the room and saw the smiling face of my little garden helper, Shannon.

Now for the tomato:
Indeterminate - Red
75 - 80 days
usually 8 - 12 oz. Had one big as 16oz this year with a couple around 12oz then they get to be about 6oz as the summer rolls along. Shannon is holding the 14oz and a 13oz in the pic.
NEVER any Blossom End Rot
Shape - No two are alike, that's one of the funny traits about her. Some oblate, some almost square, never any round ones
Reg leaf foliage but most of the time, a little wispy
grows in clumps of 2-4, had a clump of 5 this year which was a first.
taste - wonderful, but of course that's up to you.
Craig LeHoullier was nice enough to grow it out for me this year and he was highly impressed. Ranked taste an 8. Plans on selling them next year at his Farmers Market. I was thrilled with his reaction to this tomato.
I also just sent a load of seeds to the SSE. But they hold them for quite some time before offering them to it's members.

I purchased the seed for this variety from Carol this year, but I was not aware of the history of this tomato... So here is my 'usual' question
