Here is the picture I promised. There are two plants in this small pot but they are doing great. I just can't get enough of these fruits. This is my number one favorite this year. LOVE IT!!!

Thank you for the comparison picture! Mine had some foliage pruned off and are growing in a too small of a pot, but I imagine they would grow bushier if given the space and grown individually. Plus, I ate most of the ripe fruit from the plant when the picture was taken
No problemo, S.! I got you covered |

I find the earlier one seems to be more acidic, than if I waited until the fruit was much redder.

To those of you who have grown both Maglia Rosa and Blush, what is the main difference, taste-wise, between the two?

I concur that both Blush and MR have flavor characteristics that are dependent on the stage of their ripeness when tasted. Today I tasted a ripe MR and a medium ripe Blush and I found the Blush to be milder than the MR, which is already pretty mild. The MR had a stronger tomato flavor and a bit more acidity, but both are pretty mild when compared to standard ripe tomatoes like Stupice, Prudens Purple, Nepal, etc.

I remembered this post from a while back and while I have not yet grown Maglia Rosa, I did grow Blush in our fall garden and just had the first couple of ripe tomatoes and they were absolutely scrumptious. We had a deluge right before I picked them and they were still good so I can't wait to try them again when it hasn't rained so much. Even with all the rain they didn't crack or split at all. Yummy yummy!
