Wow, Michael. Where are you located that you have fruit set already? When did you start your plants? I'm in the high desert, CA and my plants started in feb are only 12" so far, getting their first blossoms now.

Nice list! I'm glad to hear about Yamal. I am trying it for the first time this year and glad to see that it is quite early and nice looking. How did you like the taste?

Elizabeth-I started them in late January, almost the beginning of February in my hydroponic system in the house under lights. Put them in a grow plug. I left them there until plant out. I planted out about the middle of March. I am in El Paso.

Dee-Have not sliced the Yamal yet, will let you know. Going to let it sit for a couple of days.

Ami-Looking forward to tasting Magyar Piros Boker.

Scott-Wild Fred is a good one, I have grown it too.

I forgot to list Zleovo-a Macedonian cherry that I got from Carolyn-I am growing that also. Ami, here is a photo of my Magyar Piros Boker today, 5/9/13.

It's a sturdy plant and will load up with fruit.

That would be spelled Zleovo and the other one from Macedonia that I got from the same person is Mala Bishka.

He keeps tempting me with some large pink beefsteak ones that he saw there but he doesn't know if he'll be able to get back to Macedonia, so I keep my fingers crossed.

Carolyn-thanks for correcting me on the spelling!

Ami-what size container is your plant in? Mine is a 5 gallon. My plant is not going to get as full as yours, I just hope the El Paso summer lets it give me lots of fruit. Its already been 90 degrees F here.

Steve-I will update this thread.

Ami - that is one robust octopus of a tomato plant! This gorgeous picture is a sample of why I will never prune to one naked stem.
