Default Lady Bug eggs and other beneficial eggs

What do you do if you find lady bug eggs on squash and have to remove the leaf because of powdery mildew? Can they be safely removed and put elsewhere in the garden? The same for any other kind of beneficial egg. I had to dispose of numerous lady bug eggs a couple weeks back and I was quite bummed about that.
