Mayan Gold and Mayan Twilight
Tom Wagner or another person knows he the new varieties of potatoes created by Scot (SCRI):les solanum phureja mayan gold and mayan twilight?

Flowers appeared in July but as it was very warm, there were no blooms thus no berries. Here are photos of the collected tubers. Remark on the taste:potatoes delicious roasted in the oven in the Mediterranean method (garlic, rosemary, oil) Last edited by Ambiorix; November 16, 2010 at 01:59 PM. |

How did the taste test go?? looks like it may be a waxy type |

translating for Twilight: fine textured flesh, slightly to moderately sweet, aroma has a hint of almonds.
