free containers
I happen to live a few miles from a Pepsi bottling plant.
I contacted their recycling dept. and asked if they had any containers. They said come on over and help yourself. They had a semi trailer full and they are glad to get rid of them. They are nice and heavy white plastic so they reflect the summer heat. The white barrel are what they use for the Mountain Dew syrup. I cut them in half and got 2 nice containers. They are 24" across and 14" deep. [/url] |

I wish i had thought of something like that when I loved in California. Now I do not think I live near any manufacturing plants at all. Then I may be wrong, as I do not know much of the area...But they had so many in California.....

Just a suggestion, There are many faux techniques you can make the containers look like stone, marble. I like white also. dcarch

Hey Mike,
I like the use of your outdoor garden lights -- planted in a pot; well I never would've thought of that!
