Default crossed zucchini seed i assume

my zucchini seeds didn't germinate and it was late in the year, i seed them to plant out on 7/4 so it must have been early july. i did not want to pay s&h for 1 pack of seed so i went to the local stores. i bought Hart's Seeds "Green Zucchini" and the picture shows your normal green zucchini.

they are chartreuse, more yellow than green, what a hideous color!

they taste ok but i dumped the seeds in the trash.
