New Guinea impatiens problems

I am experimenting with New Guinie impatiens this year. Weh have had them in the ground a month. Many of he plants are displaiying yellow of the leaves. What could be causing this?

Many varieties have variegated leaves. Do you know that it's yellowing rather than variegation that didn't show up until the plants got older?

Sorry if that's not helpful. Other than that, I'd check the usual suspects: overwatering, underwatering, waterlogged soil, etc.

I bought double impatients from my local nursery in the beginning of May that looked like yours (yellow leaves, failure to thrive). Then I got an email from the nursery explaining that they had received a shipment of impatients that had downy mildew. Look carefully on the undersides of the leaves for a faint fuzziness.

I got a full refund for my plants.
