Bean Common Mosaic Virus and Tomatoes
I am going to grow tepary beans for the first time this year. This native american type of bean is know for BCMV.
Not that familiar with BCMV. I know Tobacco Mosaic Virus does infect tomatoes. Does BCMV infect tomatoes? |

No. If you go to Google and enter that virus you'll see what it does infect. Pathogens infect, most of the time, very specific vegetables and flowers. I guess I should have moved this to the Disease Forum but I don't see that there's too much more to be said since the answer is no, Bean Mosaic Virus doesn't infect tomatoes.
