Default Bean Common Mosaic Virus and Tomatoes

I am going to grow tepary beans for the first time this year. This native american type of bean is know for BCMV.

Not that familiar with BCMV. I know Tobacco Mosaic Virus does infect tomatoes.

Does BCMV infect tomatoes?

Does BCMV infect tomatoes?

No.

If you go to Google and enter that virus you'll see what it does infect.

Pathogens infect, most of the time, very specific vegetables and flowers.

I guess I should have moved this to the Disease Forum but I don't see that there's too much more to be said since the answer is no, Bean Mosaic Virus doesn't infect tomatoes.
