Default Plants inside with no lights???

My plants have been in the garage for weeks either under fluorescent lights or in a south facing window. They are about 5" tall. The next couple or three days are going to be cold with highs in the 50's and lows in the 30's. Can I bring the plants inside for 2 or 3 days without bringing in the lights? I really don't have a good south facing window in the house but they would get ambient light from a east or west facing window while they were inside.

Why don't you just let the plants stay outside in the day time and bring them in at night?

There is no reason you cant let the plants be outside if it is above freezing.

My plants were as purple as a plum for many days and they are fine now.
I didn't have to harden them off or anything.

Now is the time to let them see some sunlight, even in PA warm weather is just around the corner.

If you don't let them see sunlight now it will mean that much more trouble later to harden them off as the sunlight gets stronger.

Ambient light will just make them stringy if they stay inside for more than a day or so.
