Point of no return - the list for 2008
All but the spare tray has been seeded. Under the lights at the height of 1 1/2 inches or so are Early Large Red x2, Red Rocket, New Big Dwarf and 506 Bush.
The list below represents a lot more seedlings than it looks like since I seeded two per peat pellet in most cases. An asterisk denotes that I have never tried that variety before. This list is not all for me. In addition to my garden, these plants will reside with Chance, Cheryl, Chris, Connie, Marquitta, Perry and for the first time, my 12 year old granddaughter, Blake. Bigcheef will also be growing a BBC grow-out experiment. This year, I am using Ferry Morse seed starting mix after the plants have their first true leaves. I am using deep 4 inch pots from Charlie's Greenhouse Supply. I plan to deliver plants and do my major plantout around April 15-19, weather permitting. First frost free date is May 1, although I have only had frost damage one time in 39 years after April 15. Not to say I haven't covered up a time or two. Without further ado, the list: “Big Burgundy Cherry” grow-out project 506 Bush* African Beefsteak* Anahu Ashleigh Belgian Farmers’ Beefsteak* Berkeley Tie-Dye 2 Big Red Big Zac (hybrid)* Brandywine Sudduth’s 2 Church* Clear Pink Early Cuostralee 2 Delicious (Weeks Seed) Dot’s Delight* Earl’s Faux 2 Early Large Red 2 Ecuador* Ed’s Millenium* Golden Monarch* Gregory’s Altai Guido* Healani* Indian Stripe* Juliet X Lucky Cross grow-out project* Large Red Unknown Mano* Matina* Mong* Mortgage Lifter Estler’s Strain* Mortgage Lifter Mountaineer Mystery* Neves Azorean Red New Big Dwarf 2 Red Rocket* Rita’s Black* Rose Quartz Multi Flora 2 Stump of the World* Tennessee Black* Tennessee Britches* 2 Tennessee Heirloom* 2 May there be no early freezes and nary a hailstorm neither. mater |

Most I don't know so I'm looking forward to the reports as the season progresses.
Good luck.
