Default why are some of the leaves turning black

My Solar Set looks great and is producing, but some of the leaves have turned 1/4 black and curled. The plant is growing on a screened in porch. Any ideas?

Some varieties have darker foliage than most.
Some varieties are more prone to leaf curling.
But generally, very dark foliage can be due to high Nitrogen. And curling might be caused by moisture fluctuation, either too wet and cold or dry.

If you have other varieties that have been treated the same way and look normal, then I would not worry about one variety. JMO

Pictures please. Mold can cause black leaves and be a serious issue that needs to be addressed. Not saying you have it, no way to know.

Thanks. That fits the bill perfectly.
