Hi, Michael.

I always enjoy reading and viewing your fall crop/greenhouse reports. Please keep us posted on results, taste, etc.

Btw, I plan to try and put a smallish greenhouse in myself next year to grow fall crops. Just been waiting to get moved.

Suze-I will be sure to post the fall/winter info about my grow-outs, including grumpy. I have aboutr 15 new dwarves (for me at least) that I am trialing. I am growing a couple of my favorites, especially citron compact. You will be happy with a greenhouse, I use it (and you probably will also) as a season starter and extender.

Michael, I'm trying out Citron Compact from you this season. I can't recall the size of the fruits. Would you say they are about the same size as Golden Dwarf Champion?

Have you sown any Grumpy F2s yet? Mine are just starting to come thru 8)

Patrina-I just saw your posting. Grumpy is germinated, about 15 seeds, so I am looking for the tell-tale signs of the dwarf. I will post this in the Grumpy thread also. CC fruit is smaller than GDC, I would estimate CC is about 6oz, at least for me in a container. I am growing it again this fall in the glasshouse.

Against my better judgment, I moved my patio king into my glasshouse-I couldnt stand to lose the fruit because I like this variety so much. I sprayed it with neem in hopes of not bringing any bugs or fungus in and its looking good. Here is a photo from today-11/04/06. Its in a 5 gallon grow bag.

Wow! It's a beauty. Please save some seeds for me Michael, if I may be so bold

Default Patio King

Your Patio King is such a pretty plant.

Please provide plant/taste comparisons
with Scoresby Dwarf.

I always enjoy reading your posts about
your dwarfies.

Star and Dcarch-the plant is about 3.5 feet tall. I love Scoresby and I love Patio King-so I cant tell you which one is better, cause they are both great varieties to me. They both produce in my greenhouse in the winter and also both produce during the summer.
