Seedling death
Many of my very tiny seedlings are dying off. They are in their new pots and have gotten a very weak shot of 6-4-4. The tops start to dry up, then fall off, leaving the root intact, but bare. I have had them outside during the day, but in the shade. Could the cold wet mix they are in be inhibiting nutrient uptake. OR? Can anyone help?
Thanks |

Wind can be more damaging than sun when trying to harden off young plants. Exactly how wet are they? Leave them dry out a little bit more... |

I'm pretty sure Farmette is quite close to me. The weather we had last week was awful. Lots of rain and even worse a LOT of wind. From the description it is probably the wind.

If it is the wind, I am hoping they recover! Thanks for your replies.
