Amish Old Red
I got seed for this variety from Carolyn. She got it from Chuck Wyatt is my recollection. Very deep red color. Tasted it along with the first Earl's Faux of the season. Two different tomato tastes to me. Both were excellent. Anyone else growing Amish Old Red? Mine is in a 5 gallon grow bag.

Michael,
I’m growing Amish Old Red from seed I received from Carolyn for the 2nd year. It was a good tasting tomato for me. There was a post awhile back that I started requesting info from Carolyn. http://www.tomatoville.com/showthread.php?t=1712&highlight=Amish

Jerry-I thought there was a previous post, but I couldnt find it this a.m. when I went looking, so I started a new thread. Maybe the two threads could be merged.

Yes, I am growing one from seed acquired from Carolyn. Like many other potato leafed varities it is very sturdy and vigorous. Look forward to tasting it.
