Default What kind of Tomatoes go with Fish?

The New York Times has an interesting article about Aquaponics:

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/18/garden/18aqua.html

Looks like a fun experiment. Be sure to checkout the links contained in the article for the videos and related materials.
The reader comments after the article are interesting, too; NYT readers have a unique grasp of how to resolve all of the shortcomings of Big Bad Agriculture, and they aren't shy about sharing their expertise.

will allen, former nba player has 12 green houses in urban milwaukee, wi. he has tilapia in tanks. he uses their waste to support the various greens that he grows for market. he does something like $250,000/yr on 3 or 5 acres. you can find him on you tube. my wife likes the idea of permaculture. being able to grow greens year round for profit in a small area.
