I'm in 6 borderline 7 and I started March 17 (this past Sat.) !!!
Lets grow already with the 2007 mater season !

I also started mine on Saturday and Sunday. I am feeling rather proud of myself for having waited a week longer than most years.

I did start a Kimberly early that I intend to put in a DIY earthbox that I will be able to move around as the weather dictates.

I started my peppers a couple of weeks ago and my tomatoes Sunday night.
Saturday I planted some peas and radishes. It has been in the 70s for the past week, but we are supposed to get some cool temps and rain/snow Wednesday. Yuck! I thought Spring was really here---the mosquitoes think so. I should know better though. We go from Winter to Summer and pretty much skip Spring.

I got some of those Potato Top seed through his newspaper offer - Got some growing in one of my raised beds. Anyone else grown this "Potato Top" variety?

Sure did Sirtanon!
But all 2006 summer I called them "Limbaughs Potato Top" ... Until I was corrected ...

I THINK? the packets they sent out may be crossed, as I've experienced it first hand, and have heard from other growers.

I had PL & RL seedling/plants & grew out both.
The PL plant was AMAZING in every aspect!
Grew to be 8ft tall, and produced outstanding beefsteaks all season long!

I was up early and started a few...Silvery Fir Tree, Siberia, First Pick and Azoychka. Will do more this weekend.

Started all my toms about 3 weeks ago. Most germinated and are now in 3 inch pots. They will not go out until end of April or maybe even first week in May. They will stay in the greenhouse while the weather is wintery but as soon as it gets a little warmer they will go out in the day time to harden off.
