I've used both. I went with Tomato Alive for years. Then a few seasons ago, some cat tore into the Tomato Alive bag I left on the patio and well... I used Tomato Tone that year. It is cheaper. I can tell the difference in my garden. But cost vs. difference? In a container...I'd go Tomato Tone.
