Okay to justify my statements I have to say it is from experience several times not something I am regurgitating off the internet.
Not that I feel I have to justify them it is just so folks know this.
Some time ago before I knew I tried two in one 4 inch container like I have done tomato plants before.
I would just rip the plants apart and put them in the ground.
Tomatoes do fine I killed every one of my cucumber plants doing this.
Then some time later I got the bright idea I could dig some up and move them.
This didn't work either.
Some of my pots had little roots growing out the bottom and those got pulled of by just removing them from the container but that didn't seem to hurt them.
