Here is yet another contraption I have been wanting to experiment with.
Explanation coming soon.

Just a prototype more or less of a repeatable saw fence stop.
The completed one will have a half nut that will open and close around the threaded pipe so I can move it up and down and lots more bracing and so on.
This is the explanation of how it works.
The shaft is 16 threads per inch.
One rotation of the shaft will move the saw fence 1/16th of and inch, 1/2 rotation will move it 1/32th of and inch and so on.
So when I need to move the saw fence back and forth I know I will be exactly back to where I came from or when I have to move something a wee bit I will know exactly how much I moved it.
The finished product will be made from 3/4 inch black iron pipe and will look nothing like the pictures.
