When I left my job on the coast was the last time I used a knock out set.
Everyone else was using hole saws and the uni-bits.
I hate Uni-bits they are over priced and if one of the cutting edges is chipped it is useless past that point.
They are also known as a step drill and them alone are as high as a cats back for no reason.
My boss was flabbergasted at the price of the knock out set.
