Without flowers, I am highly skeptical that it had TSWV. The photo you showed seems to match the pattern, but as Shelly mentioned, it usually shows up first on new foliage at top.
I'm sure you know this, but copper/daconil does nothing for TSWV, although I suspect you sprayed it in case the problem was fungal.

Fortunately, you had a backup, and that's probably the best route to go in this situation.

Also, I'm a big fan of planting yellow marigolds around the garden to act as a "trap crop" for thrips. I believe it's been 3 years since I've seen TSWV in my garden since I've been doing this...... YMMV.
