Then there was the lady on garden web many years ago.
Her tomatoes were screaming hot and she was convinced they crossed with hot peppers.
We all said that it wasn't possible.
I said that maybe her husband had pulled a prank on her.
She said there was no way he would do that to her.
About a day or two later she came back on line and said her husband had injected hot pepper juice into her tomatoes while they were on the vine right before she picked them.
I used to do the same thing with cut carrots.
I would mix some from the pepper jar in with my dads carrots when he wasn't looking.
