This year I will grow the early determinant tomatoes in the cold frame for the fourth year. Although I was satisfied last year with the harvest (mainly in June), I still see deficiencies and I am not 100% satisfied. I want the main harvest to move from the beginning of June to the middle of May. That's why I try to sow early, so that the plants should have flowers and small berries when planting. Seedlings also must not be more than 35 cm high for the low cold bed an 55 cm into a deep bed. So far, it looks that the sowing date of 1.11. for dwarfs (Mongolskyi karlik, Sarayev Shtambovyi, Betalux and Klusha) intended for the low cold bed is optimal. For the higher varieties (Sophie´s choice, Sarayev Gruntovyi, 0-33, atd.) it will be too early, but I sowed them 24.11. also.
