Here in south Florida, armadillos aren't are everywhere. I can tell which neighbors don't spray or treat for grubs because they have similar holes all over the yard. They have terrible eyesight and many times you can walk right up to them. If you shoot em in the lips, birdshot will do the trick. I don't typically shoot them bc I usually come across them in their natural habitat when I'm quail or bunny hunting. I never see just one in an area so keep that 20ga loaded.
