My guess is the probe is 1/4 in diameter this would have to go through the 1/8 fitting which it could but there would have to be room for the pressure.

The inside of the 1/8 fitting can be drilled out some.
I have looked into it but forgot my measurements.
I will do it again or you can look up the diameters of these fittings inside and out to get the wall thickness.
My problem with these gauges it that dont read what we want in the middle range and are not accurate.
You would want a 30 PSI gauge.
