Most of the vendors selling tomatoes now have a cherry color mix of some sort. I was the first one doing that. The vendors next to me now have Fred Hempel's Artisan cherries, at my suggestion from last year. They are very nice people, and I'm not upset at all about being copied. It's flattering. I change my varieties every year, anyway, so we'll never have exactly the same thing.

Speaking of getting yelled at, one very angry woman walked by on Saturday, looked at my table, and admonished me quite loudly, "God did not intend for tomatoes to be that color!!!" I would have been happy to engage in a theological debate over the matter, but she turned and walked away quickly, before I could respond.
You are rocking it my friend, I can see a sign above your booth "the tomato man."

It is interesting, a great experience, and I have found many of your points to be the same.

Yes, they will copycat you.

One percent will never have anything good to say. (The one percent rule.)
