Jo, I am glad you have found the hose that works for you. I did research the mean green among LOTS of other hoses, and lots of folks thought it was no longer available so at least we know it can still be purchased. I did come across this video I will post link to. Not very favorable but everyone has their own opinion. In the video MG is replaced by the Eley which I posted link to in my earlier post. If the Flexogen doesn't last then I will bite the bullet and purchase the Eley.
Like Sue I don't think the 1/2 in. would suffice for me. But if it works for you that is great, everyone has specific requirements. Thanks for posting your recommendation. So much to consider when buying something as simple as a garden hose lol. I spent hours researching before I finally ordered and only time will tell if I made a wise decision.
