I grow about 10 bushels of popcorn per year, so the glass gem was treated the same as any other popcorn: Dried outdoors on canvas until the weather turns rainy/snowy and then brought indoors and monitored periodically until the moisture content is right for popping, and then each cob tested for popping ability.
