Even though the Sweet Chocolate Ghost turned out very hot, I'm growing a couple other not hot types. One is a really lovely yellow habanero type that came as a random seed from a pack that was supposed to be something else. It doesn't taste much like a habanero though. I'm going to keep some seeds and see if it is true, but I have no idea if it is just a random cross or a stray seed from the seed company.

I also have a large red "sweet scotch bonnet" that is okay, but very much of the habanero flavor. I wouldn't grow it on its own again for myself although my wife likes them, but I think it is useful to add to a hot sauce mix of peppers when I'm trying to keep the Chinenense flavor but don't want it as hot.
