Oops! What on earth does it mean to harden off a seedling?
I moved to Arizona 10 years ago and this is the first time that I have tried to plant a garden. When I was a kid in New Jersey all I had to do was add sphegnum moss, fertilizer and water. Out in AZ, corn and pepper seedlings seem to take pretty well but my favorite tomato seedlings do nothing but struggle!
