Most of the pink tomatoes I have grown actually are almost red in my garden. Not so with Arkansas Traveler. It is about as pink as pink gets.
And it is not mild to my taste buds like almost every online store selling seeds says it is. It actually has complex flavor and is a great tasting tomato.
The way it grows is a little strange too. It is a relatively compact plant and the first tomatoes are really small (about golf ball size). As the plant gets bigger the tomatoes get bigger until they are baseball size.I think one of the plants is about 5 ft tall or more.
Edit: Just looked at the tomatobase site and those tomatoes look red but mine are pink pink pink. Also see where they say it has complex flavor so I am not the only one
