the determinates should be "early " ones that have a chance of displaying a second crop ..in a regular season ........if they are container they can be moved to more protected area ...to finish off and possibly extend season .
I guess some have said you can fool some determinate plants to produce again with a spike of nutes ?
I was suprised at how Yellow pygmy holds in there producing indoors(unheated garage) after outside etc....

Yes, I agree it might be a tricky question. And I've never heard of giving more fertilizer to force a 2nd flush of fruits, but I think that depends on where a person grows tomatoes, meaning how long the season is.
Yes,most det are early and some keep putting out fruits later,for me it all depends on the weather. Ones that keep going,for me, include Stupice, Matina, Kimberly, Glacier and Tamina.
I think it best for me just to comment on the ones that I know very well.
Sandpoint, taste I hate. Bred by Dr.Boe in Idaho and there are 4 other similar ones
Silvery Fir Tree,pretty foliage but taste too aggressive for me
Clear Pink Early,why not try it,does OK for me,but not much more and have never seen 2 flushes of fruits. Another one from Russia;
