Those pictures look great. They made me wonder if my dad would have eaten that cucumber salad. Dad would not eat salad (rabbit food) but he would eat cucumbers with sourcream and chopped green onions or tomatoes the same way with or without the sourcream.
Most of the salad eaters I have known have outlived their non salad eating spouses. There may be a lesson in that.
