the tiller was "gifted" to me several years ago. each year it takes longer to start than i use it and generates many expletives. i use red one oil mix, sea foam, and often get the non-corn gas at a marine gas station.
agree that electric is less powerful. the tiller is the only implement that gives me a migrane. i have more craftsman (u.s.a.) tools than allowed by law, but their motorized equip. is junk, imo. i am extremely diligent on my mix and quality of fuel, however, could very well be clogged from previous owner (thus the "gift").
agree on cord gauge. it IS a long run to the garden with extension cord, but do have power to the greenhouse and garden deck area (via cord). I've got a 14g there now.
