Nothing is eating my lavender, including deer or bunnies or bugs. And my deer eat lots of things the "lists" say they won't. I have several kinds.

It starts really well from cuttings. When I prune or when a friend wants a start, I usually just cut a bunch of branches and stick them in a pot (of "soil") like a bouquet and lots will take. So in a colder zone, I would probably keep them through the winter that way.

Please post how fast yours start and grow from seed.
