I've been reading the debate here about male/female tomatillos. As this is my first time ever growing them, all I can do is make observations. Of the three plants I planted, there are fruits on two now and the third plant is large and covered with flowers but no fruits at all until yesterday when I saw just one starting.

BTW, one of the three plants has now wilted. It wasn't like bacterial wilt though. It would partly wilt and then be fine in the morning. Every day a larger part of the plant would wilt and recover overnight. Now it's wilted and staying that way. I'm suspecting nematodes but then the two adjacent plants are fine. I'll know today when I pull it out.
