Hmong Red seems similar to Turkish Red, a S. Aethiopicum. Very big plants, the fruit doesn't oxidize like normal eggplants. Still not sure if one needs to eat it green like a normal eggplant or wait until red. All eggplants have a slight unusual spicy component, which where I come from is considered undesirable. This one has a lot of that. Probably needs specific recipes to fully enjoy.
I have seen some video on youtube with an impressively productive Fairytale plant, very compact, fruit is small (like 10cm).
