Thanks for the advice! I will definitely be growing Ananas D'Amerique A Chair Verte next year. I can't wait to taste it.

A second melon I am considering is Healy's Pride. If anyone has experience with it, I would appreciate any insights. As much as I like melons, I figured it would be hard to go wrong with a 12 - 15 pound melon.

For watermelon, I am looking at the Long Moon and Stars by Glenn at Sand Hill. The reviews at Baker Creek were extremely positive and the seed sold out last year in their catalog. I will also be growing Georgia Rattlesnake. If anyone has input on either of these or knows of a better variety to grow, I would be happy to hear your experiences.
