Tom,

As you know, I’m quite new to crossing and stabilizing. From what I do know, all variations from your experience last year could be attributed to selecting plants that did not carry the dominant gene for those characteristics. It is likely that someone you shared seeds with will come up with something very close to the fruit you have pictured and it is seed from that fruit that you would want to continue saving. Not knowing exactly what generation this grow-out is on, it’s difficult to determine which plants will yield the desired fruit.

I’ll check back after work today…
